The Palmyra United Methodist Men strive to be a creative and supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually and to seek daily his will. Our primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in our lives and all of our relationships.

We have several fundraisers each year including a Chicken Stew and a Poor Man's Supper.  At our Chicken Stew you will eat some of the best stew, hotdogs and desserts in the area.  Our Poor Man's supper consist of all you can eat pinto beans and cornbread, boiled cabbage and potatoes, hotdogs and desserts.  Everyone is welcome.

100% of all profits from our fundraisers go towards our local community outreach projects.

Local Community Outreach Projects

All of our outreach projects focus on local community needs that come to our attention. Some of our current and past outreach projects include:

  • Supporting East Stokes Outreach Ministry through financial donations and building/maintenance projects.
  • Paying oil bills for people in the local community under financial distress.
  • Building wheelchair accessible ramps at homes that have the need.
